I hope you did not feel obligated to add this picture to your illustrious theme of "Rare and Significant Contributions".
I do realize that the picture is of very poor quality, and I really debated as to whether to upload it at all.
In the end the interest factor won over.
Even though this picture was taken at the Belize zoo, the bird is wild. There were lots of chachalacas in the dense foliage of the trees, so they were not easily accessible. then this one flew down on the ground next to this sewage area. It was a very overcast day, and this bird was in the back in the corner. I waited and waited for it to move out into the light, but the rest of my party was leaving, and I did not want to get left behind with the jaguars and the tapirs, so I ran out after them, to my great chagrin.
So that is the best shot I could take. : (
Thanks for being such an encouraging supporter. : )
