They really are beautiful. I had the pleasure of watching and listening to them for a couple of weeks in B.C. this summer. On the trout lake they were the perfect photo subjects, not afraid at all. The Eagle came by often to snatch the chick and I was surprised what protective, alert and great parents they were. I wanted all three in a good shot but the loons switched off parenting and hunting, so all three were never together for long. Have a great weekend. |
