thank you for looking into and commenting my pictures. You wonder about the compact camera. The thing is this: a compact camera's electronic viewfinder is usually of no use for manual focussing. In this Sony camera however the viewfinder has a very fine resolution and manual focussing is helped by visually labelling of sharp lines.
