The danger is debatable. This is a venomous snake. They have a bad reputation which is entirely undeserved. I do my very best to stay out of strike range (not more than about 1/3 the length of the snake, usually) and let my 100mm do the walking.
I agree that the image is a too centered. It did have a vertical orientation, but I cropped it down to show the detail. I have lots of shots of this guy though, so perhaps I have one with a better composition. Maybe you can answer a question for me. What does TFS stand for? |
