It was the light that made me get the telephoto lens out and risk changing lenses on a beach! It was just amazing, you can see the heat haze on the horizon and it was that haze/temperatue inversion that caused the mock mirage sunset I refered to.
I'm still stunned by the reception this photo has had in the short time it has been up especially as I have been absent over the last 3 days or so...
