Hi Alan, thanks for your critique.
Yeah, I used a grad blue filter. I think that my ND grad grey probably would have been the better option, in hindsight, but I don't actually own a 77mm polarizer. They are about 45 and I just haven't got around to buying one yet, more things are higher on the wish list ;) I quite like the reflections but probably the polariser would have reduced the glare on the foreground rocks. It was difficult getting a good balance between the OE rocks and the hills in shadow.
The raindrop was actually on the hills, right near the centre of the frame. Funny, I hadn't noticed the 'X', how strange!
