Hi Aramok,
The water is comming from the top of the cliff, this is a really high waterfall. In the left top side of the photo there is less drops than on the right size, it was maybe due to the reflection of the rainbow. I remember that this waterfall made like a curtain of drops, and I'm forced to admit that this picture could be strange to see, but there is no photoshop work on it, except for contrast...
