|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
|These animals belong to Diplopoda group of Arthropoda.|
They were forming small clusters in large cave near Tarsus (Mersin). Probably they fed on bat guano and others animal remains.
When I posted it, I wrote mistakenly "çiyanlar" as Turkish vernacular name. Since çiyan mean centriped group (Chilopoda) and my teacher dear Professor Mehmet K. ATATÜR warned me about title, I have just changed the title as kırkayaklar, which means milliped group (Diploda) in Turkish. So I wish to thanks Dr. ATATÜR for their valuble comments.
I hope you will be pleasure this photograph.

Çıyanlar çok ilginç olmuş. Bunlardan be şekilde bir kaç tanesi bir arada görmemiştim hiç. Eline sağlık.
A good photo, but the Turkish name "ciyanlar" is wrong, these diplopodans (millipedes) are known as "kirkayaklar" (plu) in Turkish.
