Mount Washington is home to a natural colony of the Vancouver Island Marmot, one of the world’s most critically endangered mammals. The Marmot Recovery Foundation is working toward saving this housecat-sized ground squirrel, whose world population now numbers less than 100, with only about 30 breeding females!
It was so cold when we arrived but a brisk hike up soon has us all sweating. We actually captured a photo of one of the Marmot....

Hello Doreen,

A beautiful landscape and the colour palette is very attractive!
An interesting composition, as most guys probably would seek to offset the flowers a tad but I feel it works pretty well like this too...
A fine feeling of depth in the frame!
