|I used my Sony Cybershot DSC-W50 for this close up on the eyes to capture the tiny cells. |
Have a great weekdays artists around the world.
The extra close detail of this fly is excellent. The markings and patterns captured and displayed is excellent. The clarity of the fine hairs on the insects body and paws is excellent. Overall this is a super image, but it lacks a good note. If this was included in this posting this would have been an AA++ presentation. I looked at your other image and it is also really great. Try to add some kind of note next time, it is always interesting to read a little about the subject or even where the photo was taken. All together it gives that special oomph! Never the less thanks for sharing this stunning close-up.
the dof looks weird.
did you use the blur tool to acieve a higher dof?
there is no exif data to give an idea to the f-stop used.
the strange blur has ruined this image for me.
This is a great macro.
You've got good focus and detail on the head.
Of course the DOF is limited but that is the very nature of super macro. To get better DOF you have to take several different exposures and layer them which I haven't yet tried.
You can also add to own camera to the drop down menu for cameras on the equipment profiles page.
spettacolare macro, eccellente POV frontale ed ottima DOF anche se limitata dal forte ingrandimento, straordinari i dettagli nella zona a fuoco, strani i colori bluastri del BG.
Ciao Dennis, fantastic macro with amazing details of composed eyes, , splendid light and colors, great focus and excellent sharpness, very well done, ciao Silvio
It was a great piece for a camera such as this....showing that it isn't the camera but the person behind it. You did so very well here Dennis...the macro depth of field is superb.
