Hahaha, Laszlo, great dedication and very funny note! Yes, I've never seen salamandra in wild but I hope I'll see it some day! Pity that I wasn't there. Great black and yellow colours and majestic pose. I know you don't agree with me my friend, but I think this animal looks better than fungus :-) Thank you once again my friend!

Hello Laszlo !
Wow, a Salamander ! I love these animals ! I had found one someyears ago, but never again, and I wish so hard that I can find one again ! :-) Your picture is so wonderful ! I love the pose of the Salamender and her look, she seems to be smiling gently at you... And all the things like details, colors, composition, etc... are just perfect. Maybe not a fungi, but just as beautiful. Very well done !

Very cute little story and a wonderful subject. This reminds me my childhood where I had caught a salamandra like this and unfortunately it died. I never did it again!
Excellent low point of view, almost a face to face with it.
Thanks also for your visit to the Southern Festoon. It seems that they became rare because there are not many Aristolochia clematitis plants in the gardens any more (the foodplant for the caterpillars) So people here start to plant them again.
Thanks and kind regards

I have never seen a salamandra in wilderness and I can tell you I am a little envious of this rare meeting you had, while looking for some fungis. I like your composition with the focus on its head realized from a quite low POV. The colours are superb and I also like the beautiful light. Congratulations to this great capture.
