Thanks for posting this photo, it is interesting to P. Machaon in caterpillar form.

From a technical standpoint, the picture is perfect. The colors are solid and well communicated. The use of the angle of the branch, perfect composition and delivery completed by the height of the caterpillar, very well determined. The background is absolutely beautiful, with diffuse color elements, which increase the character of the photo.

This capture of a full-grown P. machaon caterpillar is almost perfect. It would have been perfect if the osmeterium were extended:)! Otherwise this is a macro of such quality that I can only praise it.

Technically awesome macro capture of this machaon caterpillar. It would be beter if we could see osmoteriums too. Indeed i have captured one but i could not find a proper time to upload it. May be in future MF!

This species, may be, is one from the more photogenic caterpillars. However, you managed to create the most beautiful and skillful shot of it. All is brilliant: impressive direct POV and precise composition, stunning sharpness and details of the insect and stem, fantastic in its blurriness and colouration BG. Piękne zdjęcie. Podoba mi się kompozycja ze skośnie umieszczonym obiektem. Bardzo ładne kolory i doskonała ostrość. No i dobra głębia ostrości powodująca, że tło jest jednolite i "miękkie".

Pierwsza rzecz, ktora mnie zdziwila to data zrobienia zdjecia. Wyrosniete gasienice pazia krolowej widywalem zwykle w czerwcu a tu prosze, koniec wrzesnia :)
Ladna fotka, co wcale nie jest takie proste przy tym gatunku (zwykle wychodza jakiesrefleksty bialego koloru).
