[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The same raccoon as last post, however in this shot, which I overlooked,,,, the face is much more in focus. I noted that seemed to be a problem with the last ones comments so I went back to my 2 dozen shots and saw this one...how could I have missed it..even a better pose... but you have to understand.. I was using an older Pentax manual focus on a newer DSLR and I was nervous about his little bugger coming after me..

Hello Bob,
Your right about the focus, this is right on the money. I also like the way you can see it's signature ringed tail in this photo compared to the other. Great work!!
I live trapped 9 of these guys this year who were destroying my sweet corn patch. They can strip your garden clean in no time in just a few nights.
Ron
PS. We finally got some snow on the ground. It's been a snow free winter until just the other day.

Hi Robert,
what a nice photo of this animal. Excellen composition. Great sharpness.
Thanks for sharing,
Maciek

Hello Bob

If i compare this photo with the previous one
i love much more this one because with the
raccoon's face we also see his tail and the
rest of the body being hided by the tree, TFS

Hello Bob,
I believe these animals are a nuisance i the U.S. but nevertheless they're very cute! Your capture is lovely showing it peeping out from behind the trunk showing its bushy tail. Great sharpness and beautiful light and colours. Very well done!
TFS and all the best wishes, Ulla

Hello Bob,
Finally back on TN again. I had to buy a new laptop after my old one had broke down.
At first thanks a lot for your kind words on my last picture. I hope that your health is still improving and allows you to go outside. And not too cold too with low temperatures like we have here. A very cute picture of this raccoon looking from behind the tree and as you say with excellent focus on its face. I also like the chosen composition with great visual impact. Thanks a lot and my kindest regards
Amitiés
Anne

Hallo Bob,
another very beautiful picture of the Raccoon, suberb sharpness and splendid colours, great eye contact in a very pleasant composition
TFS
Have a good weekend
Maurizio

Hi Bob,

The tree is helping to frame the raccoon. The point of view is showing the details and colors of part of the raccoon. The late morning light is enhancing the colors. Have a nice day.
