[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Took this photograph from Almora Kausani highway as it leaves Almora facing North. It was sunset time and I saw mountains changing colours. I immediately stopped after finding out suitable location on a turn. I used my Nikkor 600 mm f/4 lens for focusing Mount Nanda Devi, the second highest in Indian Himalayas. The result was mesmerising...I submit it here for you :)

Subhash, this work is one of the most beautiful landscape compositions I've seen in my life. You manage to convey all the grandeur of the Himalayas. The indescribable harmony of colors of the various planes, to reach the farthest, with Mount as a great protagonist, is simply wonderful. Thank You ...

Hello Subhash,
You could not have picked a better time to pullover your vehicle and capture this beautiful landscape image. The lighting and warm colors on the mountain peaks are simply gorgeous. I love the way you incorporated the overlapping silhouetted tree lines into your composition, they add much to the overall attractiveness of the scene. A pleasure to view!!

Hello Subhash! Amazing landscape. Wonderful perspective. Superb weather. Marvelous colours. Perfect take. Regards!

Hello Subhash,
a deeply impressing scenery of sunset highlighting just the snow covered peaks of Mount Nanda Devi residing high above the hazy lowlands in the shadow.
I like the colour contrast of the warm highlights in the distance against the deeply dark blue shadows in front, and the way you have shown the forested foothills like a perfectly stencilled frame around your main subject, the holy mountains.
What a good decision to stop your car near the Highway for saving that picture to an audience.
With thanks, and best regards,
Peter
