Hi Janice, this is certainly a nice image to see. Yesterday I took some eagle photos and blue jays,as well as deer but I didn't get as nice an eagle photo as what you have uploaded today.I like the straight on point of view look this bird has and your clear and sharp focus with the good light.Nice capture! Thank you Janice for sharing your eagle with us.

Hi Janice,a magnificent portrait, the eagle turn the head in the right moment and way to create this beautiful face to face, good details, just the white plumage in the right is overexposed but it was impossibile to make different.Have a nice week and thanks,Luciano

Beautiful portrait Janice, bright - sharp and perfect eye kontakt.
Well done.

Thanks for sharing.

Hello Janice,
How could I not like a shot of our national bird, wonderful close-up image. I love the intense gaze it has on it's face with those piercing eyes. The colors appear true and natural. The ruffled head feathers are an added special effect to an already beautiful bird.
I noticed the right side of it's face seemed to be a tad overexposed due to the harsh side lighting. Hope you don't mind, but I tried a WS to see if I could bring out a little more detail, although I don't think I succeeded in my quest.
Ron
