Lots of these in the forest, but difficult to find one that would stay still for long enough to get a good shot in light. High ISO because of shady conditions.

Would be pleased to know what it is.

Hi Geoffrey,bad light but you will try with the flash the next time to have best details.Good sharpness and colors,this is "panorpa communis" ,the scorpion fly,very very common in my country too.Have a nice weekend and thanks,Luciano
