[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A common gull in a Liverpool garden tapping its feet to bring worms to the surface. I was told that they do this very commonly and that locally they are called Zaza after some famous footballer who used to do a similar thing before running up to take a free kick.

It was dull and overcast so the light is far from the best.

Hello Geoffrey,
A nice close up image of what appears to be a Herring Gull. The vivid green grass as a BG contrast nicely with the gulls plumage. Feather detail seems a bit soft almost smoothed over for some reason, possibly due to the low light you discribed. Good eye contact.
