|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
|One of the prettiest birds I saw while in Tanzania was the Lilac-breasted Roller. This particular bird was sitting high in the tangled branches of a tree when I spotted it. To see such a colorful bird in the middle of the Tarangire National Park was a real treat and one I will always remember.|

Nice specie of bird. In the summer The European Roller migrates from Africa to Danube Delta region. But this specie has green and lilac color. The other one has blue with green colors.

Hi Ron,one of the most beautiful, you have raison. The colorful plumage is very attractive and you cuaght that in a perfect way, bright colors and fine details too despite the distance, truly lovely! Have a nice day and thanks,Luciano
Beautiful coloured Bird. I've seen a lot here in KNP too. Well framed although it didn't give you a good BG. Sharpness looks high and for that parts of branches as well as edge of the bird's tail got whitish. PP could have been better in my view.
Thanks for sharing,

you didn't get the attention you deserved for this awesome shot, Ron. How the bird stands out from the drab background ! And the technical stuff mastered so well. Chapeau!
Thanks for your remarks on my beetle. Yes, there is at least one similar species in the Eastern Mediterranean, Sepidium tricuspidatum
Best regards, Dietrich
