[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Trying out techniques for shooting Insects in flight-10:

after much effort I came back to an older technique, using just full sunlight, the flash not being strong enough. The Zygaena filipendulae ( Six-spot Burnet. Zygaenidae) was done that way.

The problem: you have to crop the image a lot, so using 800 oder more ISO is out of the question. You need high speed (1/2'000 sec here) because you follow the flyer with the telelens.

Hi Dietrich,your note are very interesting another time about the techinique used for this pic,the result is wonderful,i can't see noise after the cropping process and the details of the moth are fantastics like the magic light,very well done!! Have a nice evening and thanks,Luciano
