[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
My second posting from Mallorca - this one is in the Puig Major area taken from near the Cuber reservoir - a delightful spot for walking and exploring.

I saw this tree and just knew that it could, if I positioned myself correctly, frame the view really nicely - with the pampas grasses as foreground interest. I think it was quite successful - I love the colours especially - hope you like it.

Minor post-processing - just a tweak of levels and saturation to bring out the colours a touch more, resize border and sharpen.

Thanks for looking!

Hi Doug,
A very good composed landscape!
I like all the elements seen into the framing, and the contrast by the grasses, pines and the arid ground.
Congratulations and thanks for share it.
My best regards,

Hi Doug,
excellent composition, very strong indeed mate. Love the different planes you have created with your POV, this is excellent. Lookes like really harsh light to deal with too, from high above and yet you've got some good contrast.
Have a good weekend,

Hi Doug,
Could you transfer some of your blue skies to my photos? I haven't seen any blue skies for days and I really need some. The composition you've created here is very good. The extreem low POV has made the tree and mountain look huge and also gave you a good FG interest. The colors and light are wonderful and give the photo a very fresh feel.

Hi Doug, very beautiful caption!!! Well done.
