Cyclamen graecum

Picture was taken in the Peloponnese peninsula. Time was Sepetember in the end of the dry summer season. There is no rain during the summer months and just before the rain begins these beautiful and delicate flowers manage to break through the hard soil and bloom using the reserves from the previous winter.

Scanned cropped and sharpened.

A really gorgeous photo, Shir. I love the delicate flowers against the hard earth. It makes me want to visit Greece again!

very very beautiful. I like especially the sharp flowers near the blurred ones. Indeed Cyclamen graecum. Ori
