|This is a very common species, Danaus plexippus, known as Monarch butterfly. Its a true joy that such a beautiful species is so common, allowing many of us to take pictures of it from Canada to Costa Rica. |
The colors may seem pretty to us, but its true message for the birds is "Eat me and suffer".
Anyways this picture was taken a year ago, Happy valentines!,(for those who like the date), for those who dont enjoy your day regardless!

A well focused shot of this colourful butterfly. Crisp clear with all details clearly seen. I especially like the white dots on the wings. It displays well. A lovely presentation which fills the frame perfectly. Thank you for sharing this special image. Good composition with a lovely neutral background. Kind regards

POV is superb and opens amazing view on the beautiful butterfly and so fine flower. DOF is selected perfectly. All subject are in focus and crisp sharp. BG is awesome in its colouration and smoothness. Exposure of the image and reproduction of the wide range of colour tones are ultimate. My congratulations and best regards.
