|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
|Winter has officially begun.|
There has been rain drizzle for three days in the park.
The fog has not lifted and will not all day.
The dam is not full yet.
The colours are mutted but are still there.
There light is even, so the structure of the bush becomes apparent instead of the minced light and shadow that usually exists in the Australian Vivid light of day.
The Black Hill Reserve showing its winter wonders.

I enjoy and admire this photo offering of yours very much and have been lingering on it for a few minutes now.It has a quality not unlike a fine looking oil painting with the muted colours you speak of in your note and the overall balance or the way it has been cropped could not be any better as this point of view works so very well.An atmospheric photo what with the blurry or foggy background makes the viewer want to walk into the image and explore what lies beyond.A photo that engages
the eye and makes one feel like being there has achieved, in my opinion, a very desirable effect and mere words can't express. Thanks for sharing this well worthwhile upload of a landscape that I have seen a number of times elsewhere in my life,a quiet place where the wild things are and where I feel free. Superb picture shown with great artistic sense. This one I would have done too. Your framing is well chosen with the trees on both edges opening on this mysterious landscape. Fine and subtle colors give a very harmonious impression. Great light-management, beautiful golden tonality and the vanishing background are excellent elements of this very special shot. Just great!
Thanks and kind regards

Hello Barry, you don't talk about your PP in your note at all, but what I'm seeing here is some excellent work in the creation of this photo producing very excellent detail with great contrast and sharpening, to produce a very real likeness of what I would expect to see in this scene. The composition is pretty good too.
