Focus is a tiny bit soft but the pose and colors are fabulous. TFS!

Hi Ali
what a spectacular colour pattern ! and a rare species - I think never illustrated in herp books before (I liked your previous picture, too)
I hope you will continue to post photos of Iranian animals, we know so litle about this corner of the world

What an interesting pose, Ali. The focus is bit soft, but the compositon makes up for it. This newt's colors are very different from our local newts. Did you take it underwater? A note with so information would be appreciated since this new to me. Thanks for sharing this colorful guy. :-)

Focus is a bit soft, but what a stunning animal. Good compsoitin and pose.

Very nice picture of a new creature to most of us. Thank you, Ori
