[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A lonesome guanaco in the wilderness of Torres del Paine National Park in the Chilean side of austral Patagonia. The subdued lightning effects is just not sunset or sunrise put protruding trough spots of clouds.
Guanacos are sociable animals and here in Torres del Paine one can approach ridiculously close to observe and can gaze at a lonesome animal or at herds of hundreds. This place is a high plateau, surounded by lake and heavily glaciated mountains. While Chile is on a high plateau on the other side of Patagonia, in Argentina is rather a long interminable arid pampas (south American desert).

Hi Radu
Another good photo of a Guanaco in the Andes.
I just think that this one is a bit darker than the real ting.
Good composition, with the details of the snowed mountain in the background.
Good work.

Great image Radu, I like the sense of deapth you've vreated in this image by capturing the snow covered mountain in the background. The image seems a bit dark, but judging from the sky, you had very overcast lighting conditions. Thanks for sharing!

Hello Radu. This is a beautiful scene. There is a great sense of isolation. It seems that this guanaco is all alone on top of the world. Great job and TFS. : )

And where's the frame? ;)
I love black frames and I miss it here.
I also think that I would've cut the photo stronger to emphasize the main subject.
Anyway, I like it, of course ;)

Hello Radu,
maybe that's not your sharpenest shot, but still makes an impression of this unhospitable places.
Fascinating!
Greetings from Poland,
Michal
