Joshua Tree National Park in the winter, a place where summer brings soaring temperatures way over 100 Fahrenheit, also receives snowy blizzards in the winter, a unique extreme environment, California high desert. Feb 2005

Darling long-legs
Needs to understand
That cotton candy on my tail
Its just the way I am
And not a stolen taste
From any other mam.

Hi Radu,
very extraordinary. What a chilling contrast!
A poetic view derived from the very extreme.
I like it a lot. Thank you!
Best regards,

Hello Radu,
Nice shot with excellent pov and composition. All settings are perfect. Thanks for sharing this extreme environment.

Hi Radu, interesting post. Amazing conditions that plant has to stand up to. It's a great composition and the exposure is good too. Well done.

This is a very interesting perspective, Radu.
The sight of so much snow on a cactus-type plant is jarring.
The radiating pattern of the leaves offers an eye-catching composition.
Excellent texture and exposure on the snow.
