Another wild flower from the island of Porquerolles. This flower looks somewhat like a flower in India which when touched simply disintegrates. But this did not do any such thing. The outward spine like structure made it an unusual looking flower.

A fine capture of this dense and delicately coloured flower. It looks like a flower of the Compositae family.
The sharpness and composition are excellent and the blurred natural BG gives the flower prominence.
