[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The Vulcano Pacaya in Guatemala is one of the most active volcanoes in the world. With his height of 2,552 meters it has had many eruptions, and there have been at least 23 erutptions since 1565 that reported about 23 eruptions. The largest known eruption of all was 1100 years ago when the entire volcano collapsed, sending a debris avalanche all the way to the coastal plain of the Pacific Ocean.

The area that surrounds the volcano is absolutely worthy for a visit! I took some of my photo's and merged them to this one..

Thanks for the memories. I was in Guatemala in Jan. of 88. It was a beautiful site to behold. It has a special place in me and I will never forget it. I'm glad to have visited many sites.
Excelent composition and view. Well done on this project.

Interesting post Patrice. It looks a fascinating place.
The photos may have lost a little quality in resizing, but the presentation is good. Thanks for showing us this.
