Love all those colours.
The sun shinning on the bush and also on the antler of the "BOSS" makes this image the OUTSTANDING register that it is.
Greetings from Canada from Mario.
I don't think I've been to that reserve. We'll have to check it out. My husband just got into photography and is always looking for animals to shoot. I do mostly landscape but seems I've posted a lot of animals lately. I think it is because he is the chauffeur. : )
He also has a good eye for spotting them and we both end up shooting animals. This is a nice capture in the low angled light.
I do think the wide, high contrast frame detracts from the image with its softer colors.

Good Evening Bettina,
Great capture with nice light, great colors and good details. Nice composition showing the bull being a bull, constantly nosing the cows. Bettina are these Rosevelt Elk? Thanks for sharing this nice work.
