[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I captured this mother Sandhill taking a moment for herself. I broke all of the "rules" taking this photo. I had to shoot into the light which added the incredible highlights behind her. However it totally blew out the rest of the photo. So I added a dark vignette around her and deepened the shadows in the bramble. A little bit different than normal, but I wanted share it. Hope you don't mind the PS work.

Oh and sorry I cut off her legs, I have a zoom happy finger! I'm working on it. :)

A good photo. I like the light behind, it really makes her stand out more against the dark background. Good colour and composition. A lot of detail in her feathers. Well done. TFS.

Hi Ange,
Don't hate me, I'm going to be nasty. The post prodution work has put sort of a light halo around the subject with sharp edges. Now the good parts very nice pose captured with nice colors. A filter would help with the harsh backlight.
