Shandur pass (3700 m.) connects Chitral and Gilgit in Pakistan.
The top is flat, a plateau and can be crossed between late April and early November.
Every year, during second week of June, there is polo match played on Shandur Top between teams from Chitral and teams from Gilgit.
Passion for Polo is the highest on the world's highest Polo ground.
The festival also includes folk music, dancing and a camping village is set up.

Hi Aldo

what a great shot. I love the mountains and spend as much of my holidays in them as I can and this one is excellent. I am wondering if you could have got a refelction of the water, if you had gone down to the water at the bottom left. It may have added something extra to it.
