[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is my third attempt to photograph this little blue gem. I went to the same spot near a lake and tried to get even closer to the dead tree trunk that this particular male uses for his lookout point. I had to do some severe cropping in order to make him the star of the composition. I am still not happy about the lack of sharpness, even though i increased sharpness in Photoshop. I think it's my lens that has a very low DOF and aslo the lack of a tripod.

hello Klaudio

reading your notes i see that it is hard
to take in photo this beautiful bird,

i personnaly love your photo, even if the subject
is on the center of the image, i think in this case
the subject be-ing at the center it is appropriate to this image,
there is superb light on the image
and good details on the bird's plumage, TFS

Hi Klaudio,
I understand were your coming from the Superb Fairy-wren are not an easy subject to capture, {I managed to get a shot or two off up at Lamington National Park and post them a while back}, my advice is patients, {easier said then done :)} but you've done well yes its a tad dark and maybe a fill flash would have helped with the detail but its well composed and framed, hang in there looking forward to seeing more, all the best Cheers Rick :)

A nice capture of this small bird,yeah I know the problem sometmes they dont want you to approach more,maybe a longer tele or hide could work out,tfs

It looks wonderful,lovely texture on the log.
Despite your cropping there is still very good detail and the colours are beautiful.This is a lovely little bird,and I am glad you took the effort to capture it.
You have composed the shot well,I like the pose with the tail cocked up like that,and also the dainty wildflowers are a wonderful accent for the shot.
