What a delightful and pleasant shot of this cute looking squirrel. It seems as if it is not bothered by you or the camera at all, the food in its hand being main priority. I like the position you have captured this one from the front, showing plenty of details to appreciate. The big black eyes with the white circles so clearly visible. The pretty little nose and ears, the whiskers and slightly visible the stripes on its back. Good focus and framing, presented in a delightful manner. Thanks for sharing.

In last October, I was in Spain and I posted another black ardialla near Malaga. But I had not enough time to visit Canarias. So, I couldnt see this beautiful animal. Maybe for next time.

Nice squirrel photo, but the one entitled "The Curious" is - by my opinion - better, both composition-wise and in using the available lights. Of course it doesn't mean I don't like this one, it's a good shot showing the animal in its environment, I simply feel the other photo "top", while this one's "only" "above average". I hope You understand my POV.
