Hello Michel,
An excellent capture of this beautiful Purple Finch. Composition couldn't be and better and focus is tac sharp. Love the natural colors and that tiny catchlight in it's eye.
I really can't say for sure if I have ever seen one of these colorful little guys before. I have many times viewed House Finches at our feeders which to me look very similar to the Purple Finches. Maybe I saw some and just assumed they were House Finches. Excellent work at capturing this fine image!!

Very good looking Finch, Michel.
The light is just perfect to give a very fine impression of the bird's color and its plumage. The branches of the tree provide an interesting frame. The use of the tripod has resulted into a razor sharp image.

Top class image in terms of white balance depth and clarity Michael. Good day! I personally think that a landscape orientation of the image could work better with more breathing space around the bird, specially from left and right. Fantastic little bird with the most gorgeous colors imaginable. Well done !
