Your right...you would never think this eagle would have such beautiful underwing markings and black and white contrasting colors just from viewing it in a perched position. What a gorgeous inflight shot!!

L'opposition sur l'arrière plan est remarquable et valorise bien le sujet malgré une profondeur de champ, me semble-t-il, insuffisante principalement sur le corps de l'oiseau.

fantastic sharpness for an in-flight bird. Lightning is amazing too, I can hardly understand where the light comes from. Nicely framed.
Finally, this species is beautiful and its attitude is majestic.
