Cylindromyia bicolor is a fly of Tachinidae, whose distribution has been commonly southern Europe. But since about three decades ago, has been moving toward northern Europe (located in Germany), among others due to the effect of global warming.
It is a species that lays its eggs inside the larvae of the bugs Pentatomoidae family, especially has been observed in Rhaphigaster nebula. Therefore it is an endoparasite of bugs, which makes it valuable as controlling agent. Adults feed on nectar as in the case of photography, grazing on flowers Euonymus japonicus.

Cylindromyia bicolor es una mosca de la familia de los Tachinidae, cuya distribución ha sido habitualmente el sur de Europa. Pero desde hace unas tres décadas, se ha ido desplazando hacia el norte de Europa (localizada en Alemania), debido entre otras razones al efecto del calentamiento global.
Es una especie que deposita sus huevos en el interior de las larvas de los chinches de la familia Pentatomoidae, sobre todo se ha observado en Rhaphigaster nebulosa. Por lo tanto es un endoparásito de los chinches, lo cual le hace valioso como agente controlador. Los adultos se alimentan de néctar como en el caso de la fotografía, pastando en flores de Euonymus japonicus.
