Lampides boeticus is a small butterfly found out a few days ago thanks to friends TrekNature. In my file I found this couple copulating on a grass spikes in August.

Usually lay their eggs on plants in the legume family, so their larvae can feed on the leaves of beans, peas and beans. But do not worry, because your damage is minimal.

Lampides boeticus es una pequeña mariposa que descubrí hace unos días gracias a los amigos de Treknature. En mi archivo he encontrado esta pareja copulando sobre las espigas de una gramínea en agosto. Suele poner sus huevos en las plantas de la familia de las leguminosas, por lo que sus larvas pueden alimentarse de las hojas de habas, guisantes y alubias. Pero no os preocupéis, por que su daño es mínimo.
