Acrida ungarica mediterranea is a subspecies of Acrida ungarica commonly found in South Mediterranean countries. It is a phytophagus species not harmful on cultivated plants. Its body is slender that can reach 40-70 mm in females, 25-40 mm in males.
The head is elongated cone-shaped and has antennas flattened to spearhead. The livery from green to brown, depending on the environment. |
