[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
I captured this butterfly on a hill side on a fairly windy day. I had to lie flat on my stomach since the butterfly perched on a pebble just off the ground.
Females have yellow outside wings in the wet season. I'm not crazy about the busy BG, but this was all it offered me. |

Hello Ron,
Nice butterfly specie. Very sharp image taken against the light.

Hi Ron,beautiful species caught with bright colors, the quality isn't the best,an hard work to reduce the noise,so the sharpness isn't perfect, but no problem,i'm happy to see this rare guest of TN. Have a nice week and thanks, luciano

Hi Ron
Nice colors and pattern on this specimen, new to me.
Not always favorable conditions when taking pictures, I know that, but this is a good work.
Regards
Hi Ron,
This is a lovely photo, very spectacular both color- and light-wise. The way how you captured the translucent wings in backlight is fabulous. The butterfly's tack sharp and the colors are perfectly saturated. Lovely shot. Congratulations!
Kind regards from Ireland, László
