|For all those who lost their parents, grandparents during the current covid-19 pandemia.|
Science: aged and blackened stromata of the Candlesnuff Fungus (Xylaria hypoxylon (L.) Grev.) to represent the sad reality - an obituary.
Title: taken from a song of the death metal band Obituary, from their album Cause of Death - matching well, too well to the current mayhem...
Photo: shot yesterday in the Moanbaun Woods near Watergrasshill village. ISO 160, f/3.5, 1/30 sec. in manual exposure mode. No PP except for re-sharpening after re-sizing.
Workshop: shows some younger stromatas... to represent life itself, as the current chaos will end once, too.

Hi Laszlo, first of all thanks again for your facebook message, i'm still alive and i'm fine but i can't go out to take pictures. Thanks also for your dedication to those who left us because of the virus, but now in Italy even the forties have been affected, so we must be careful, And thanks for the two photos, the old and the new as a metaphor for the theme that we are dealing. Have a nice day! Luciano
