Artistic and elegant, the composition is about as good as it could get. Would a little more light reflected onto, or maybe into, the flower make it glow and bring the colours out more?

This lovely Lily in the misty background is very nicely presented Adrian. I only wish I could find a shot of my Chocolate Lilies with so much charm and character. Well done and thank you for the link it was very interesting. Excellent work.

Hi Adrian, A lovely shot, I like your POV very much. I can just imagine the contortions you had to go through to get it though . Get an angle finder, it really helps. Having said that, it really is a beautiful composition, so well worth the effort. I love the shapes the stem and leaves make against that sky background, it's very artistic. Nicely done :)

I just love this shot. The backlight aided in bringing out the texture of the petals as well as to enrich the colours.
The composition/POV is great and the DOF is perfect with remarkable sharp details.
From your notes it sounds like you ate a bit of dirt for this shot.

Beautifull shot you got for us. Sharpness and exposure are excellent, but best of all are composition and simplicity of your subject. The white BG and the shallow DOF are splendid. The low POV is perfect. The shot has a lot of visual impact.
