[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I found this nocturnal snake during a day trip in the dunes. The snake was lying under a bush probably after a night meal.
This amazing species is very common in the dunes and it easy to find it by following after its prints.
It feeds mostly on rodents.
The photo was taken early in the morning.

Hi Aviad

Another photo of this beaty!
It looks terrific!
I really love the tracks it left on the sand and how well you can see the it has large flat scales on its abdomen. Excellent work there!
I also lovel the charming colors and and the sharpness of the details.
The warm lighting is great, too and the composition is very nice.
The link on the picture is quite distracting...i guess it mught be better if you would just post that in your note, but that's just a details and the photo itself is splendid!

Bravo and TFS
Horia

Wow Aviad,
Dangerous trip...do you often encounter such fellows during your trips?
Beautiful image; good sharpness and too crazy light.
Well done

Hi Aviad,
great animal. Nice details and superb colors. It's just a pity that you left page on the photo (I'd have put these informations into a frame or into the text!). It disturbs the eye on the main subject.
But a great picture anyway,
Oki

Nice work Aviad,
I would not want to be faced with this guy even if he only eats rodents! Lovely and sharp, awesome low light and a great texture to the scales.
I agree with previous posters about the link on the photo very distracting.
