This photo was taken in my backyard early in the morning with my telephoto lens.

I do not have any idea what kind of bird this is but I just loved the song he was singing and the redish orange color on his chest.

If you know what kind of bird it is please feel free to let me know. I just thought he was very beautiful.

I got looking at your gallery and saw some photos that caught my eye, this one is of a Varied Thrust, tough lighting situation, but a nice composition. Thanks for sharing.

Hello Bettina , I find this a lovely shot ,beauty bird, great compositie ,colours and sharpnes t'light in his eyes nice bg and framing , very nice youre carden ,Greetings Teunie .

Well shoot! I live in western Oregon and I've never seen one of these varied thrusts. Good eye and capture.
