Amazing color contrast and the sand dune pockets at FG, the different layer of colors under the blue sky to make this impressive landscape view.

Very nicely captured light+shadow effect.

It is really very strange that even without trees or vegetation, this desert scene can be so attractive. Perhaps it is the land form and pockets in the sand that makes up for the features.
