Fantastic photo, Tom! I love the action with the open bill and the two birds together. Calm nice BG enhances the impression.
Are the 500/4 your primary choice these days... if I remember correctly you also use a 300/2.8?

Very special photo of these Robin-chats in two different poses. The singing one is gorgeous. Perfect timing. Both are great in sharpness, details and colours. Beautiful blurred background and a nice composition.

Through a balanced composition, Tom, you show us a pair of beautiful Cossypha heuglini; birds should not be often seen in TN (I had never seen before). I congratulate you for the opportunity that you've caught one of these robin in full cry. The whole is illuminated by a light calm, almost dreamlike. Thanks for sharing this great work, man.
