I don't know what it is but it sure looks beautiful Lisa. Excellent capture with a lot of details, nice colours and excellent handling of dof.
Strange thing - you are sure it is not from outer space ;-).

Well, i know one thin about this...it is a very good capture. Amazing how sharp you gor it. It looks beautfull. And beleive me, i usually don't find any kind of jelly fish beautifull...the other way around ;) Really good job Lisa.
Nice shot! I'm uncertain exactly what we're looking at, but I think these are some kind of egg mass... What sort of size is this? It doesn't look like a jellyfish to me, no visible internal structures, and most are symmetrical. Anyway you've captured it nicely - please let me know the scale and I'll see if I can come up with a better guess! Good capture :-D

I agree with Adrian in thinking this can't be a jellyfish, it seems to even in texture. However, I'm not willing to hazard a guess as to what it might be, as I've no idea whatsoever.
Whatever it is, it's a beautiful capture with good details and a sheen something like soapy water ;-)

I clicked on this pic hoping you were going to tell me! I'm no marine biologist but i'm going to back Adrian on this, these jelly turds (as they have been affectionately known to some) are in fact fish eggs.
Morning from the UK lisa, intresting picture, I think they are eggs to, not fish but snail / molusc it looks pretty much like the ones i find in my watering header tank at work only slightly bigger ours only being 2cm across, wil try to post one as a WS to this for you to compair if OK by you.
Good picture plenty of detail seen a bit of reflection causing some distraction but other wise very nice.

Peu importe ce que c'est. Ce qui compte le plus, c'est la beauté de la chose. Et la joie de la voir et de partager cette joie.

Could that be a sea cucumber or sea snail? I have no idea. What else could have a crystal clear body? I wonder if you have used flash to compare the effects with this one?
