I would think this one is the six-banded armadillo - le tatou ŗ six bandes - Euphractus sexcinctus.
More information Here

We grabbed it. He was not aggressive and just waiting for his fate (beeing famous on TN, but he didnít know that). We took a few shots and released him. He walked away and disappeared in the grass. I cropped the pic (50%) so that the hand holding him would not be on. Contrast enhanced in Paint-Shop-Pro.
Head close-up a few seconds later Here

Thanks for looking J

It looks like you are managing to get a lot of milage out of this one armadillo...;-)

Excellent POV! Very clever and artistic!

Thank you Jean-Marie!

Hi JeanMarie,
Great macro shot of armadillo's claw. Nicely cropped. Well composed picture and nicely framed. Very sharp and neat. Fine details. Nice colors.

Hi JeanMarie.
I like your unusual and impressive shot so much. Great expressive work, made with great skillfulness. Perfect composition, exposure, combination of darks and lights (directed from top to bottom), excellent sharpness and details. Well done and TFS.

Excellent idea. I think if you could include the clipped nail it would have been a good idea. I wish I could see one of these for myself one day. Well done.
