Very nice butterflies here, Lisa! The DoF is perfect and they are well framed with nice colors. Bravo!

Beautiful capture, Lisa, they have some ressemblance to Monarchs, but different colours. I went hunting for Aussie butterflies and found this page which seems useful in determining species: http://www.calm.wa.gov.au/plants_animals/butterflies/butterfly_species.html - if you can get the pictures to load, that is, I couldn't. But you could try it a little later ;-)

Splendiferous! :-). Very nice shot. As for the ID I cannot help, it isn't in my european book (surprise, surprise). The background blues and browns go very well with the subjects. Nice composition and focus.
Well done Lisa.

Very nice image Lisa I read it that these were free flying not as wesee them in the UK in a large Green house, these tropical varities are so beautiful, I love the way we get hints of the canopy they are hidding from the heat of the sun. they are almost abstract in their look. thank you for sharring , l look forward to seeing if you get a name for them from bente surgested web site.

The cyan color matching both thespots on the wings and the background is fantastic and your group composition is also very good.
One of the most interesting butterfly photo I've seen, I think it links butterfly buffs (which I'm not) and purely photo addict (you can pigeonhole me in that category) .
However there's something bothering me : the very bright patch at the top of the image is very distracting IMHO, perhaps you could cheat a bit for art sake, and clone it out of the image...
