This is one of the new fox cubs at the British Wildlife Centre. The 11 year old vixen produced 3 cubs (which was suprising as everyone assumed that she was too old to produce cubs).

They are in a large den dug by the foxes and this has lots of ground and tree cover. The little cubs have jut ventured out of the den but they are being hidden in the greenery.

The lovely staff at the centre let a few photographers stay after closing time when they put food down on the ground for the adult foxes. They thought we might see the adult foxes taking food to the youngster - as you can see we got an even better view when one of the cubs ventured out into the open area. He was only out for a few minutes but I was delighted.

They hope to release the cubs into the wild when they are older.

I will post another view as a workshop
