This was taken yesterday in the forest at the same place and time as the squirrel . This was when i was not raining but the wind was blowing hard.

Willow Tit ( Parus montanus ) Length 11 - 12 cm.
Has a similar distribution to the Marsh Tit although range extends further north into Scotland.The Willow Tit preferring more swampy woodland , which the New Forest can be.You are never far from water.Pale patch on wings not always distinguishable and dull black cap and larger bib.
